Restoration of Keith Haring's mural
In 2021, an international team completed the restoration of Keith Haring's mural on the grounds of the Food Centre Amsterdam (Jan van Galenstraat), heralding the return of the giant 12-by-15-meter fantasy animal to the Amsterdam Cityscape.
Keith Haring mural returns to the city
The Keith Haring mural has been the part of this area’s unique DNA from the word go. This amazing cultural heritage will soon become one of the connecting factors between Marktkwartier West and the surrounding neighbourhoods and districts. The mural is one of the largest surviving public works by Keith Haring in Europe.
