Keith Haring

The Keith Haring mural on the Food Centre grounds has been the part of this area’s unique DNA from the word go. This amazing cultural heritage will soon become one of the connecting factors between Marktkwartier West and the surrounding neighbourhoods and districts. The mural is one of the largest surviving public works by Keith Haring in Europe. Want to find out more about this legendary artist and activist? "Amsterdam Notes”, one of Keith Haring's largest pieces is currently on display in the Stedelijk Museum's Hall of Honor. The whopping 38m drawing features fantastical monsters and colossal animals, with human figures dancing, flying and making love in between. Keith Haring's Amsterdam Notes is on display at the Stedelijk through 5 November. Book your tickets here.
