Summer activities in the neighborhood
Although the information center is closed during the summer, there is always something fun to do in the neighborhood. From lovely sunday markets to dancing events and circus acts.
The Sunday Market is held every first Sunday of the month from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Westerpark. For fans of salsa, bachata, or reggaeton, the Summer Breeze Latin Night (18+) takes place every Thursday evening from June 6 to August 29 in Westerunie, Westerliefde, Westergasterras, and on Klönneplein. There is a dance rhythm for everyone. Additionally, at the end of the summer vacation, the Circusbende Festival comes to Erasmus Park. From Thursday, August 29 to Sunday, September 1, you can enjoy comic acts, music, and interactive games from (inter)national circus artists and emerging talent.
