Art Below Zero ice sculpture exhibition
From December 21 to March 2, 2025, Europe s largest ice sculpture exhibition Art Below Zero: 750 Years of Amsterdam will be on display in the Central Markthal. Walk the red carpet to the Market Hall and admire the impressive, life-size ice sculptures.
This exhibition offers a unique, icy look at the transformation of Amsterdam. From a small fishing village in the 13th century to the bustling metropolis of today. From historical figures like Anne Frank and Johnny Jordaan, to the iconic canals, The Palace of Volksvlijt, the Red Light District and the architecture of The Palace at the Dam - each work of art has been carved from ice with extreme precision.
